As you’ve probably noticed, we have a ranking list at https://sphigg.com/rankings that highlights the most active and popular profiles. Being listed there is a great way to build trust and visibility for your profile page.
Previously, we ranked users based solely on the number of Sphiggcoins earned. However, with new users joining every day, it became harder for everyone to climb the list. So, we’ve introduced a top-secret algorithm that calculates a score based on multiple factors.
If you check out our top rankings now, you’ll see both your score and the total amount of Sphiggcoins you’ve earned so far.

We just rolled out an update regarding Sphiggcoins. You can now see how many Sphiggcoins you have earned on your profile (and so can other users).
A couple of days ago, we updated the comment system so that you can now like comments. We want to reward that, so we’ve updated the values: you will now earn 1 Sphiggcoin if your comment gets a like. Additionally, you will now earn 2 Sphiggcoins whenever your posts get a like. And remember, you still earn 10 Sphiggcoins when a new user signs up using your referral link.
We’re also working on an idea where you can use your Sphiggcoins to pay for boosting your posts. What do you think about that idea? Leave a comment and let us know!
Sometimes dark is a good thing. So, if you like, you can now turn Sphigg into Dark Mode. Just go to your profile settings page and turn on "Dark Mode".
We now support autocomplete when you want to tag a friend. Just type @ followed by your friends username, and we will suggest usenames to choose from. Just select a username from the list and press enter.

You can now share your favorite images right here on Sphigg.
Write a short text, add an image, and combine it with links and hashtags. We support images up to 8MB with a minimum width of 700px. And don’t worry—we’ll resize and compress them for you.
Here’s how it works:
Every time someone likes one of your posts, you’ll earn 1 Sphiggcoin. Refer a new user to Sphigg using your unique referral link, and you’ll score 10 Sphiggcoins!
